An elderly Jewish gentleman marries a much younger woman. No matter what he does sexually, the wife never achieves orgasm. Since a Jewish wife is entitled to sexual pleasure, they decide to ask the rabbi. The rabbi listens to their story, strokes his beard, and makes the following suggestion: "Hire a strapping young man. While the two of you are making love, have the young man wave a towel over you. That will help the wife fantasize and should bring on an orgasm."

We've started work on a long-awaited two-part ebook about Tantric Yoni Massage and Tantric Oral Sex. We're each going to do different parts, but while I was working on some introductory remarks, I felt compelled to yet again explain the role of energy and orgasm in Supreme Bliss Tantra.

Voluntarily Pulling The Trigger

What got me thinking about this recently was our last long lovemaking session before Jeffre headed to the Southern California desert to teach shamanic energy medicine for a couple weeks. As we often do when we're not swept away by the irresistible urge for a quickie, we stretched out our lovemaking for the longest time. We were shifting and flowing back and forth from finger loving to oral play to many positions for jewel penetration. Anyway, Jeffre said to me near the end "Do you want to come before I leave?" While I was deciding, a warm wave of laughter swept through me that she asked me to explain. I was laughing because this was me, the same guy who had a hair trigger before we learned Tantric Sex. Now she was asking me if I wanted to voluntarily pull the trigger. That's what some sexologists call it, you know, voluntary ejaculation.

Of course, that sounds like a totally alien concept to teenagers who are constantly in heat. Studies differ in whether it's every 3 or 5 or 8 seconds that a sexual thought forces its way into their minds. (In middle age I've graduated to every 12 seconds.) Whatever the frequency, we still remember what it was like when the slightest hint made me hard or her wet. But those continual mindless testosterone trances had their downsides, too. Being spontaneously flooded with desire doesn't happen to us all the time at our mature ages. But that doesn't mean that I don't still spar on occasion with premature ejaculation or her with orgasmic explosions being elusive.
