Truckee is 12 miles north of one of the truly great natural wonders of the world, Lake Tahoe.

The Sierra Nevada are a beautiful place to live anytime. We're here partly because we're avid skiers. Truckee is just minutes from world-class ski resorts including Squaw Valley, the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, Alpine Meadows, NorthStar, and the oldest resort in these here parts, Sugar Bowl. Plus we're just an hour's drive from Heavenly Valley, Mt. Rose, and Kirkwood among others.

Summers are wonderful as well hiking, biking, fishing, and swimming, the favorite warm-weather pursuit of our Golden Retrievers.

And we're just minutes from top-notch shows, restaurants, and gambling in North Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada.
